Appliances from St Columband Newquay and the rescue tender from Bodmin attended a road traffic collision near the runway on the A3059. On arrival the crews found a single vehicle overturned and a female trapped inside. Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty and left in the care of ambulance personnel. Police were also in attendance.
