At 16:04 Cornwall Fire Control recieved a call to a kitchen fire. Two crews from Falmouth were mobilised initially, within four minutes crews requested a make up of 'Pumps Three'. On this a third appliance from Truro was directed to the incident. On the crews arrival the bungalow measuring 10 m x 5 m was well alight. Crews used four breathing apparatus with one main jet connected to a hydrant on the fire. Crews also requested Ambulance crews attend to treat an elderly female. At 16:43 crews had two breathing apparatus, one hosereel and a positive pressure ventilation fan at the incident. A Fire investigation is now in progress at the incident ground.
