Horse Rescued From Water Filled Ditch

One crew from Penzance and a Rescue Tender from Camborne attended a call to a 16.3 hands horse who was trapped upto its belly in a water filled ditch. Crews used small tools and a reciprocating saw to cut trees and foliage away from where the horse was trapped. A vet attended the incident on standby. After 45 minutes of cutting by the Fire Service the horse walked free of the ditch.
