On arrival at this incident it was found to be a derelict building and persons were reported at the scene, a total of six major appliances were mobilised to the incident, a total of 10 breathing apparatus wearers were committed at the incident and used jets to extinguish the fire. The property was a 4 storey building of approximately 20 x 20 metres. After a detailed search by Brigade personnel all persons were accounted for. Arson was suspected. The Brigade were alerted again at 06:07 hours on the morning of the 5th, on arrival crews found flames issuing from the ground floor, six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were again committed using three jets. Arson was again suspected. The incident is ongoing.
