On request from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, both fire appliances from Launceston were mobilised to a reported barn fire.
A total of six fire appliances were committed at the scene, along with a decontamination unit and support appliance from Bodmin. Specially trained hazardous materials officers also attended as the incident involved asbestos.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service resources returned just after midnight and the incident was left with Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service.
