Two Water ladders from Wadebridge and Bodmin along with a Water carrier from Wadebridge attended a call to a garage on fire near Chapel Amble. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hosereels to extinguish the fire initially. The garage was well alight on the crews arrival and crews reported two gas cylinders were also involved in the fire along with a fibre glass boat and the garage. The garage involved had an asbestos roof. Bodmin crew set up decontamination equipment for crews on site. Crews set into a hydrant to supply one main jet to the fire and crews made the LPG gas sylinders involved in the fire safe. Cornwall Fire and Rescue service Officers will be attending the fires location to determine the cause of the fire.
