Two fire appliances from Bodmin and one fire appliance from Lostwithiel attended reports of a fire in the bedroom of a house.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke.
The ambulance service attended for one person suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
No further information is available from Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service about this incident.
