On receipt of this call, both appliances from Penzance were mobilised, on arrival there was smoke issuing from a semi detached two storey dwelling, a total of four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed to the ground floor kitchen of the premises and used a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, which involved a tumble dryer, the positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the premises. West Country Ambulance were requested for a casualty suffering the effects of smoke inhilation. No further details are available for this incident.
