On receipt of this call, appliances from Helston were mobilised, on arrival at a detached property, the crews found a fire in the ground floor of the premises, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish two seats of fire. A Fire Investigation took place in daylight hours and the cause is being treated as arson. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
