Sailors Creek - Flushing at 24/02/2011 10:00

The Fire Service was called to a houseboat on fire at Sailors Creek Flushing. Two Appliances from Falmouth, one appliance from Truro and a boat from Falmouth including two Wholetime Officers attended.

On arrival the crews discovered a 60 foot houseboat well alight. The crews used 2 breathing apparatus and one main jet to extinguish the fire. One casualty suffering from smoke inhalation was dealt with by the Ambulance service.
