At 13:25 this afternoon Cornwall Fire Control recieved an emergency fire call to a large gorse fire which was being blown towards s domestic residence. One crew from Bodmin and two from Delabole were mobilised to the incident. On crews arrival the gorse fire had a front measuring 400 metres. Crews used beaters to extinguish the fire which was 60 meters from the property. At 14:21hrs it was confirmed that the fire had been extinguished and the property was not longer threatened. In total 7 acres of bracken was involved. This fire started accidentally.
