Fire On Bay Window Flat Roof

The Fire Service received a call to a fire on a bay window of a house in Torpoint. One appliance from Torpoint, one appliance from Saltash and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised to this incident.
On arrival the crews found a small fire on a flat roof of a bay window which was burning between ceiling joists.
The crews used 4 breathing apparatus 1 hose reel, ceiling hook triple extension ladder and hearth kit to extinguish the fire by cutting away between floors of a 2 storey terrace property of 5 m by 7 m.
