The fire and rescue service received a call to a gorse fire at Treleigh, Redruth. Two appliance from Redruth were mobilised.
On arrival the crew found a gorse fire of 200 metres in length. Beaters were used and the fire was also left to burn to a natural break. The fire was assessed as arson and the police were informed of the incident.
