The fire and rescue service received a call from a member of the public reporting a gorse fire on the side of the Dolcoath Road in Camborne.

One appliance from Camborne was despatched to the location. On arrival the crews discovered a small gorse fire that was out on arrival.

Anyone with information on fires being deliberately started in the countryside are advised to anonymously call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555 111 or contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 08452 777 444 with information.
