Gorse Fire

Two appliances from Redruth and one appliance from Camborne attended this incident. On arrival crews were confronted with a three hectare gorse fire, fanned by strong winds. Firefighters surrounded the fire and using beaters extinguished the blaze. Crews then monitored the fire and allowed it to burn to natural breaks.
The fire was believed to be arson. Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed
