On receipt of this call, appliances from Delabole were mobilised, on arrival at the scene, the crews were faced with multiple small fronts of high grass, the main front covered approximately 800 square metres, Fire & Rescue personnel used beaters to extinguish the fires. Crews were delayed for some time, returning home at approximately 2345 hours.

Arson was suspected, Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
