Domestic Gas Cylinder Venting

Delavue Terrace, Camelford at 06/04/2011 14:34

The Fire Service received a call to a domestic propane tank which was venting from the top.

One appliance from Delabole and a Wholetime Officer attended. On arrival the Service cordoned off the area, while they awaited the arrival of an engineer. The crews are standing by while the engineer is dealing with the cylinder.

If you smell gas or think that you may have a gas leak somewhere, then you should call the national gas emergency service straightaway on 0800 111 999 or the Fire & Rescue Service Dialing 999 in an emergency situation.
