Chywoon Crescent, Newlyn, Penzance at 08/04/2011 23:59
The Fire Service received a call to Chywoone Crescent Newlyn Penzance to a smoke alarm sounding in a property. Two appliances from Penzance and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised.
On arrival the crews heard smoke alarms within the property sounding and a smell of smoke.
The Fire Service made a force entry through the front door, with 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hosereel. The crews removed pans from an unattended cooker to the outside and ensured all occupants were safe.
The police also attended the incident.
