At 19:10 this evening Cornwall Fire Control received a running call from an off duty Fire fighter who had extinguished a fire in a property. On the call one Fire Appliance from Camborne was mobilised to investigate the incident and ensure all was safe at the property involved. The small fire in the bedroom had started when a quilt had been placed over an electric heater and the heater was accidentally turned on. The heater had set fire to the quilt, some carpet in the property was also burnt and one casualty suffered minor burns.
