At approximately half past midnight the Fire Service received a call reporting a hedge on fire in the area of Penpill. When the crew from Callington attended they found a compost bin, approximately four metres by two metres, to be well alight with a deep seated fire. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
