At 0453 a crew from Padstow responded to a call for assistance from the skipper of the Fishing Vessel Jessica Grace. A 30 ton, 10m vessel berthed on the outer harbour wall in danger of toppling over before the next high water. The crew secured the vessel using lines and stood by until she floated off on the incoming tide.
