Appliances from Liskeard and Callington were mobilised on receipt of this call. The fire was in a detached house and involved a pan left on a cooker, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish the fire and also to ventilate the property. One person suffering from smoke inhilation was treated to by ambulance personnel.
