Near Carn Grey Quarry, Trethurgy, near St Austell at 25/04/2011 15:12
Two fire appliances from St Austell attended and firefighters used a hosereel and beaters to extinguish a fire involving 100 square metres of gorse and bracken by 1610hrs.
Fire crews remained on scene for a time damping down hotspots.
Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
