Appliances from Redruth and Camborne attended a report of thick black smoke in the area of Radnor Road. On arrival firefighters found a large uncontrolled bonfire which had spread to a quantity of tyres. Crews wearing two breathing apparatus and using one hose reel and one main jet extinguished the fire.
