Manure and Hay Pile On Fire

One fire appliance from Camborne and the water carrier from Helston are currently using a hose reel and small gear to extinguish a large pile of manure.
The fire is approximately ten metres by five metres in size and three metres high.
The crews are making good progress.
Final update 1930hrs: The fire was brought under control by 1900hrs and the fire crews remained on scene damping down hotspots for a further 30 minutes.
