Fire In the Woods

One appliance from Bodmin attended a report of a fire in the woods above the railway station. On inspection the crew found the landowner in attendance with a large bonfire.
It is advisable to contact the FRS when a controlled burning is taking place, this would then avoid turning appliances out needlessly.
