Two appliances from Penzance attended a fire in a property in Newlyn. This was a semi-detached house of two storeys measuring approximately twenty metres by ten metres. The fire was in the utility room which was extinguished by firefighters wearing four breathing apparatus and using one hose reel and one jet. One casualty suffering light burns to fingers was taken to hospital, by firends, following first aid administered by firefighters. They have since returned home.
