On receipt of this call, one appliance from St. Just was initially mobilised, the rescue tender from Camborne was also mobilised, on arrival at the scene it was found that a fuel tanker carrying aviation fuel had sunk down to its axle in an underground pit, the tanker was not leaking any fuel, crews stood by until the arrival of a crane, which proceeded to recover the vehicle to safe ground.
