Following a call from the RSPCA stating that a bird was trapped by its head between the roof and facia board of a property in Foxhole, one appliance from St Dennis was sent to investigate. This proved to be a difficult rescue involving removal of part of the guttering, so access could be gained. A fire-fighter using an extension ladder was then able to remove the birds head from the entrapment. On release it happily flew away, uninjured.
