The Fire Service received a automated fire call from a collection centre for Trennick Villas Malpas Road.
Two appliances from Truro and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival crews found a small fire in a chip pan that was out on arrival of the Service. The crews used a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire was out.
