One crew from Newquay attended a call to some grass on fire in the sand dunes to the north of Fistral beach. On their arrival crews found an area of grass 3 x 2 m burnt, the fire had been extinguished by members of the public. Details of this incident were passed to Devon and Cornwall Police.
