Both appliances from Penzance attended this incident, there was approximately fifty square metres of gorse and wooded areas alight, crews extinguished the fire using high pressure hosereel and beaters. Crews remained on scene for a considerable time monitoring the area, the last crew returned to station at approximately 2200 hours.
