On reports from a neighbour hearing a smoke alarm sounding, both appliances from Falmouth were mobilised, on arrival at the incident one person was removed from the building suffering from the effects of smoke inhilation, the fire involved food that was left on the cooker, fortunately the fire was out on arrival but the building was heavily smokelogged, crews cleared the smoke using the positive pressure ventilation fan. Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel administered oxygen to the casualty until the arrival of West Country Ambulance.
