2 appliances from Mullion were mobilised following an abandoned call in which a smoke alarm could be heard. Following further calls stating that smoke was issuing from the roof and the upper floor of a house, an appliance from Helston was also mobilised. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire which involved an airing cupboard containing an oil fired boiler. Crews then ventilated the property, leaving the scene at 1915hrs.
