Electricity Pole Fire

Numerous 999 calls were received for this incident. On arrival, a fire crew from Truro found a single electricity pole well alight and arcing. Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service personnel closed a section of Holywell Road to keep the public safe and stood-by until the arrival of electrical engineers.
By 0655hrs the fire was out and the incident was handed over to the electrical engineers.
