At 19:03 hrs this evening a call was received, stating that there was smoke issuing from a Laundry Service building at St Austell Bay Business Park. Two crews from St Austell were mobilised to the incident and found a fire in an Industrial Laundry Unit. Fire crews used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish a fire in an industrial gas and electric powered tumble dryer. After investigation it was established that this fire started accidentally.
