Fire In Diesel Engine

Two crews from Truro were mobilised to a fire in a diesel engine, which was outside a shop. The fire had been extinguished on the crew’s arrival. Fire crews used one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to remove smoke from a shop premise. Crews thoroughly inspected the shop involved, and confirmed that the fire had not spread to this premise. This fire had started accidentally.
