At 0754 on Sunday 2nd November the Fire Brigade were called to a shed fire at Killiow Golf Club. Two fire engines from Truro were in attendance at 0804 and reported that a 10 x 8 meter shed was well alight. Chemicals were stored in the shed and additional crews attended from Camborne and St Austell along with a Fire Brigade chemical officer. Water jets were used to cool the area and a cordon was set up to keep the area safe. Police also attended the incident which was brought under control at 1033.
