One appliance and two Wholetime Officers one of whom was a Hazmat Officer attended a property in Waterloo Truro after the occupant had reported a smell of gas within the house.

The gas board was also contacted and attended the incident both services used specialised gas detectors and made sure that the supply was isolated.

The occupants of the property were checked over by West Country Ambulance for gas inhalation.

Two properties were thoroughly checked but no apparent reason for the leak was found.
