Person Rescued From Balcony

One fire appliance from Launceston was mobilised following a call via the Cornwall Lifeline service, to a neighbour who was calling for help, trapped in railings on a balcony. Ambulance was also requested.
A ladder was used to gain access to the casualty, who was quickly released from the railings by the firefighters.
The fire crew then assisted the paramedic before the casualty was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
There are no further details available from Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service about this incident.
