Dumper Truck Fire

The Fire Service received a call to a dumper truck on fire at Goonvean Quarry.
Initially one appliance from St Dennis was mobilised, however on arrival they found a dumper truck well alight with difficult access and therefore made pumps 2. A second pump was mobilised from St Austell along with a Wholetime Officer.
The crews used two breathing apparatus and 2 hosereels to extinguish the fire which was found to be accidental.
