Firefighters from Falmouth, Truro and Redruth attended a report of a smoke alarm sounding in a cottage, with a smell of smoke.

Firefighters forced entry into the cottage and found a pan on fire. The fire was quickly dealt with and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.
