On receipt of a call from Falmouth Coastguard, reporting one vehicle on the cliff edge with a person inside, resources from Perranporth, Camborne, Truro and Redruth were mobilised. On arrival crews stabilised the vehicle using specialist line rescue equipment, coastguard teams and also a rescue helicopter from RAF Chivenor has been tasked to the incident.

Update 1130 hours: Access has now been gained to the casualty by Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel and the coastguards, casualty assessment is now taking place.

Update at 1230 hours: The casualty has now been recovered by both Cornwall Fire & Rescue working with their colleagues in the Coastguard Service. Also in attendance were Devon & Cornwall Police and West Country Ambulance Service.
The casualty has been transferred to the waiting helicopter and has been transferred to hospital.
