Industrial Unit Fire

The Fire Service received a call to smoke issuing from industrial units on the Newham Industrial Estate in Truro.
Two appliances from Truro, one appliance from Falmouth and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival the crews found a single storey garage complex approximately 50 metres by 10 metres used as a garage and sales outlet with fire affecting two units.
The crews used four breathing apparatus, two main jets, a ground monitor, one 135 ladder and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.
The fire crews are still in attendance at this time cutting away and ventilating the property.
