Liskeard and Saltash crews were returning from a previous fire incident in St Ive when a call came in reporting a road traffic collision on the A390 near St Ive. A further appliance from Bodmin and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin were mobilised to the incident. The collision involved two vehicles with several casualties, two of which were trapped in one vehicle. Crash rescue equipment was used to release the trapped casualties, one free they were taken to hospital via Air Ambulance. Fire crews administered oxygen therapy to casualties on scene alongside Land Ambulance, fast response paramedics and Police also attended this incident.
