On receipt of this call reporting a car fire, one appliance from Delabole was mobilised, on arrival the car was found to be well alight and threatening a nearby property, further resources were requested and an appliance from Bodmin was mobilised, the car fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and two high pressure hosereels. After the fire was extinguished, the crews proceeded to cool the exterior walls and roof of the property to ensure there was no further risk. The cause was accidental.
