Road Traffic Incident
A30 Bolventor at 31/07/2011 15:35
On receipt of several calls for this incident, appliances from Launceston and Bodmin also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival it was confirmed that no persons were trapped, but several casualties involved, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel assisted colleagues from the ambulance service with the casualties, ambulances attended from as far as Truro and Plymouth to convey the casualties to hospital. The A30 was closed for a considerable time. Further details are available from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were also in attendance.
