At 0819hrs Police requested the FRS to attend a collision involving a single vehicle on the B3253 near Whitstone, Bude. One appliance from Bude attended the incident. On arrival the Ambulance crew asked Firefighters to remove the roof of the vehicle. Crews used crash rescue equipment to take away the roof of the car, to enable the safe extrication of the female casualty. She was then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
