At approximately 1100 hours Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service received numerous calls for Dorset Fire & Rescue Service. Severe flooding in the area led to the Dorset Fire Control Room being inundated with 999 calls leading to fallback calls being handled by Cornwall Fire & Rescue Control Room.
