House Fire
Butts Park, Lostwithiel at 20/08/2011 13:50
The Fire Service received a call to a smoke detector sounding in a property in Butts Park Lostwithiel. Two appliances from Lostwithiel and one from Bodmin were mobilised to the incident, along with a Wholetime Officer from the Bodmin area.
On arrival the crews made a forced entry into the property to deal with a fire on the ground floor. The crews used 1 hosereel and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire which involved a frying pan on the hob of a cooker. The fire was confined and accidental.
